Artifact Dance Project is a collaborative performance group in the Tucson Community, strongly focused on the art forms of live music, dance and film. The mission of the organization is to innovatively combine these art forms for live performances in venues such as theatres and other public spaces. ADP is a company which hires and provides work for local Tucson artists and production crew as well as national and international guest artists including musicians, dancers, actors, film directors, poets, stage managers, lighting designers, composers and more. It is a project that remains consistent in its mission of integrating art forms yet varies in the artistic collaborations presented in each performance. Educational outreach allows students of all ages and social backgrounds, an intimate perspective as to how live music, dance and film can come together to create novel works of art with minimal resources and maximum creativity. Collegiate level students are also involved with ADP from institutions such the University of Arizona and Arizona State University. It allows undergraduates and graduate students a chance to work in a professional setting for supplemental compensation during their college programs. Artifact Dance Project appreciates the rich culture and talent of which Tucson has or offer and will continue to pull talent and creativity from the community and abroad.
